Gästehaus Binder

For two people, seven days costs 295€. The owners are very friendly, though the rooms have only the basics. The gästehaus is in Aufham, about 20km from berchtesgaden city.

There’s plenty to keep kids busy here, with animals and a little playground behind the house. We also got a generous breakfast every morning, and everything was tidy and well cared for. We were pleasantly surprised during our weeklong stay. The owners were very friendly, parking was provided, and our room had a simple but tasteful charm. There was no TV, but we didn’t mind since we spent the days out. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely come back.

From the village, it’s an easy walk to the outdoor pool, restaurants, playground, and Porsche Museum. The inn itself is an idyllic little spot, with a few small animals to see. We’ve stayed here three times now and always enjoy it. The family is incredibly welcoming and likes to chat. Our apartment is very spacious, with two balconies, a fireplace, lots of storage, and spotless rooms. The view is magnificent. We’ll be back again! 😊

I spent three days here and felt right at home. It’s a great base for motorcycle rides or hikes, and there are some lovely tucked-away inns in the wider area with delicious food. The value for money is hard to beat. If you’re after a clean, cozy place rather than luxury, this is a good fit. Breakfast is simple, and the rooms don’t have TVs. Thanks for a good stay.
