Hotel Adler

Fair prices, clean rooms, and service that was excellent. A good hotel.

The location was convenient, about four kilometers from the main square, and the rooms were very clean. The bathrooms had clearly been renovated recently and felt brand new. The rest of the older hotel is very basic, with just a bed, table, and wardrobe, but that was enough. My room was by the stairs, though, and I could hear everything going on in the hall. The walls are thin, so it got a bit noisy.

For me, it does the job: a basic room at a low price, with a hot shower and friendly staff. I’d forgotten my main plug adaptor, and the receptionist even found one for me. Air con would’ve been nice, but you can’t have everything.

I turned up without a reservation hoping to find a room, but the hotel was full. It looked exemplary and the room rate seemed very fair, so that was a shame. The young receptionist deserves credit for finding me somewhere else to stay and helping with the cheerful translation. See "A8 Lukas". Thanks, Hotel Adler. I’d definitely book with you next time.
