I liked the location and the interior design, but the internet was barely usable beyond simple emails. I couldn't work, download a presentation, or load websites. I tried both my room and the lobby. The best download speed I got was 9.59 Mbps.

The staff were friendly and helpful. On a Sunday, they even pointed me to the nearest pharmacy when Google Maps showed everything as closed. The hotel is well placed for walking to the city center, and there's a parking garage just around the corner. I'd definitely recommend it.

Breakfast was good, with scrambled eggs, sausage, pastries, vegetables, and yogurt, and the staff were helpful. But room 124 had no air conditioning, so it was very hot and I couldn't sleep. Opening the window seemed like a solution until the noise from the train station kept me awake all night. The fridge was broken and added hot air to the summer heat.

The rooms have rugs, obviously ;), and the whole stay was really pleasant. The location is convenient, a few hundred meters from the city center and near Deutsche Bahn. Parking is a few meters around the corner, not the hotel's own lot, but Rugs Hotel guests get a discount, about 8 euros total. Since it was hot in summer, they even gave the kids free ice cream when we arrived. Great food, friendly staff, and everything was at a high standard. We'll definitely come back!

The pickup time shown in the Too Good To Go app was inaccurate, so I had to wait an extra 50 minutes and then got this tiny amount. Don't order Too Good To Go from here.
