We called the day before to reserve a double room, but when we arrived, nobody seemed to know about it. They politely asked us to wait 20 minutes, and requested payment upfront before showing us the room. The first room looked nothing like the advertised photos. It smelled of smoke, hadn't been cleaned properly, and had a large spider on the wall. Sheets had been left on top of the closet, and all the visible smoke detectors had been removed. After we spoke to the manager, we were shown another room with two separate beds. That one was better, but still not what we'd expected for €50. We did have dinner in the hotel restaurant afterwards, and the food was delicious.

That rigatoni was absolutely delicious, one of the best I've ever had. I'll definitely come back if I'm in the area.

We had one of my best experiences here. The food was amazing, the owners were incredible, and the outdoor seating was beautiful. The rooms were clean and newly renovated, and the showers had fantastic water pressure, which you don't always get when traveling. It's just outside Augsburg and not far from Munich, so it's a peaceful place while still being close to the city. A beautiful place all around, highly recommended.
