Steeger Weinstube

The owner didn't meet us or call to say he wouldn't be there. He hadn't left a key in the pin code box outside the entrance, and when we called, he didn't answer for an hour and a half. We had to find somewhere else to stay, but he refused to refund anything after taking payment in advance. He seemed glad to get easy money. Be careful paying in advance. The hotel is very old and smelled like a place that hadn't been cleaned in ages, not like a pleasantly old building. I don't think we could have slept there anyway because the smell was so bad.

Okay.

The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the host was incredibly kind and accommodating. I loved the old-world charm, and the room was great, with a fantastic bathroom. Everything was very clean. I can definitely see myself coming back 🤩😇😁

The host was very helpful, which was a real plus, and the price was fair for what we got. Breakfast was included, and there are a few free parking spaces across the road, though most parking there costs extra. The location was very quiet, but the house itself was a bit noisy. It was okay for our short break. We couldn't give it more than three stars. This is basic accommodation, but it badly needs renovation. There was no bathroom heat, and the room heating was off too, so our damp towels couldn't dry. The space heater didn't work either, and the shower leaked in one spot.
