The views over the Schlosspark are lovely, and the staff are very friendly. Fliegendes Klassenzimmer is one of three hotels run by the same owner on Goetheplatz in Bad Berleburg, right beside the castle. Reception is in Altes Museum, while breakfast and dinner are at Alte Schule. This one is in the most modern building. The school theme is a nice idea: rooms have names like Erdkunde and Chemie, and their interiors follow the subjects. Still, compared with the character of the other two hotels, this place lacks atmosphere. Breakfast is fine, and nearby restaurants offer good value. Marburg is about an hour away by car and worth visiting.

The rooms were quiet, clean, and very comfortable, so we’d definitely stay again. We also had a lovely meal at this beautiful restaurant. The staff were excellent and happy to help with anything, and the food was lovely.

Breakfast was fresh and generous, with everything we needed. Our room was small, but just right for us, and felt perfectly laid out. We also had a lovely view of the castle gardens. The staff were attentive and very friendly.

We felt comfortable here as a couple. Reception gave us a friendly welcome and goodbye, and the breakfast service was friendly too. Our booking included a picnic basket, and they handed it over with plenty of food. A great stay overall.

Everyone was very friendly, from reception and the breakfast room to the cleaning staff. Breakfast was nicely prepared, with fresh food regularly replenished. The room had plenty of space and was very clean, and the bathroom was hygienic too. Our compliments. The beds were the one downside: the mattresses were extremely hard, and we woke each morning with aching limbs. We definitely recommend the hotel.
