The rooms were comfortable and had a nice view of the hills and mountains, with plenty of parking. Our hosts kindly let us store our ski gear in a garage, and baked rolls for us every morning alongside a big breakfast with fresh orange juice and coffee. It's a nice family hotel near Winterberg, with a restaurant and very helpful people, making it a good winter holiday base. The rooms are a bit dated and aren't well soundproofed. Some guests thought it was funny to set an in-room alarm for 5am before checking out, which woke others. Still a good place to stay despite that.

This was our first visit, for three nights with our Dutch friends. Michael and his team did everything they could to make it a great stay. The hospitality was 10/10, and breakfast was amazing.

We only came in for a meal, and it was just perfect. The service and food were both good.

It's cozy, with a nice view out back. The desserts are great, but the rest of the menu is too plain to be worth it.

The food tasted good and came quickly. It was pretty expensive by German standards, though.
