The peaceful setting was just what I needed after a day on the motorbike, and it’s close enough to Cochem for a day trip while staying away from the tourist bustle. Bars and restaurants are only a short walk away. I’ve stayed here twice now, and the family hosts looked after me well. My single room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and breakfast and the traditional evening meals were great. Their English is better than my German, and Google Translate helped with anything else. Thanks for a great week.

It’s a quiet, restful place with tidy rooms and breakfast and dinner served well. They speak only German, not English.

The room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. It’s a lovely, cozy hotel in beautiful surroundings, with a great location and a very kind, welcoming hostess. We’ll definitely come back.

We were glad to find the Bertricher Hof after several restaurants in Bad Bertrich couldn’t seat us. The food was delicious and nicely presented, and the service was excellent too. We ate at the restaurant and really enjoyed it. Definitely worth a visit.
