Lillys Hotel München-Unterschleißheim

The room was comfortable and very clean, and the complimentary breakfast was good. Staff were excellent and accommodating, and I had a great stay. The location was convenient too.

The shower only had freezing water, and I was very disappointed. The room was unbearably hot because the AC didn't work. Other rooms had the same issue. It was very hot outside too, and the small window barely let in any air. I couldn't sleep.

The way to the hotel at night by train is a nightmare. My own experience was worse: my booking was canceled on the day I was due to arrive, while I was still on the plane. When I got there at 8 p.m., I was told there was no room for me. The staff member was outrageously bad. He said there was water leakage, gave me the wrong hotel name, and came up with another “argument” before finally printing the email he'd sent a few hours earlier. He was on the phone chatting with his friend the whole time. Surely it was just a coincidence that there were events in town that day and he could sell the room for more.

On arrival for our first night, the rooms hadn't been cleaned. There was garbage and dirty bedding, and no one at the front desk or lobby to help. Nobody answered the phone either. We were staying for four nights. On our last night, our room key stopped working, and again there was nobody around to assist.
