For the price, I expected more. The towels smelled like some kind of medicine, and the rooms weren’t as clean as they should have been. Breakfast cost 10€ and was as basic as it gets, so it wasn’t worth it.

We booked two nights and found the stay unworthy, with no minimum level of service. Breakfast was below average, and everything felt cheap. The worst experience ever. When my man politely commented on something, Madame was unfriendly and told him to take our bags and find another hotel if he didn’t like it. Our first and last time.

The family Thomas waited for us after a car problem delayed our arrival, and their empathy meant a lot. We were welcomed with enthusiastic politeness, and the hospitality and friendliness throughout our short stay at Hotel Victoria were second to none. Our spacious, fresh, clean room had a front-facing balcony where we enjoyed relaxing into the evening. Hotel Victoria is a gem in beautiful surroundings, and the Thomas family deserves credit for it. You’d be missing out if you didn’t spend time here. Thank you to the wonderful family Thomas. I hope it won’t be long before we’re back in Bad Bertrich and at Victoria Hotel. The hosts are very friendly, and the functional rooms and breakfast are both appealing. It’s a centrally located guesthouse with a welcoming family atmosphere, always a good choice!
