The WiFi was slow in the rooms, though fast in the lobby. Breakfast was average, and the service was good.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and my room was tidy with a clean bathroom. The location is quiet, with parking on site and free WiFi. The place has more of a clinic feel than a hotel. Breakfast and coffee weren't anything special, but it was perfectly fine for one night.

The staff were friendly and accommodating as far as they could be, and the breakfast was okay for the price: the usual selection, with about four kinds of sausage and cheese, boiled eggs, and so on. Chilled drinks were available cheaply around the clock. Mineral water in a 0.7l bottle was €1.00, apple spritzer in the same size was €1.50, and beer was around €2.50. What really ruined the stay was the room. The furniture was awful, with fluorescent tube lighting and a seating area that felt like a train station rather than somewhere cozy. The carpet was long past its best. In the bathroom there was only a curtain, no blinds, and the holders were empty. The window was clear glass facing a country road about 40 meters away, so showering with the light on could mean being seen. Most of all, the bed was terrible. The hotel calls itself a “health hotel,” but my partner and I slept worse than we ever have in a hotel. The mattress seemed either completely worn out or wrapped in foam, and we both had back pain every morning. I stay in hotels often for work and privately, so I feel able to judge. At €79 a night I didn’t expect much, but a bed you can sleep well in should be included. The pool mentioned in the description is reached through an underground corridor and belongs to the spa clinic next door. Treatments apparently take place there during the day, so the pool may not be fully available. That ought to be made clear in the description.

Breakfast was good, with enough choice, and the restaurant service was courteous and friendly. The room looked tidy at first, but hygiene needs work. Only the linens seemed freshly changed. There was a thick layer of dust on the table, bathroom shelves, headboard, and other surfaces.
