Breakfast was great, and the rooms get cleaned really often and very well. The staff were very welcoming, and the hotel and service were really good.

The website is extremely misleading. The hotel is really outdated and urgently needs bringing up to 21st-century standards, unless you’re after a 90s experience.

The breakfast buffet had plenty of choice, and we could reach the nearby iodine-brine thermal baths on foot or in a wheelchair. The hotel has a lovely sauna and spa area that we highly recommend. We stayed four days at the beautiful Golf and Wellness Hotel Amtsheide and enjoyed it a lot. Since I’m partially wheelchair-bound, accessibility mattered especially to us. We appreciated getting a room upgrade when we arrived, and they also installed a toilet riser for me, which we really valued because that isn’t always standard. There are two accessible parking spaces in front, and the whole hotel is wheelchair accessible. The hotel manager and all the staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. We can wholeheartedly recommend the hotel and give it the highest possible score.
