Geisbergerhof

We had a lovely week at the Annenhof in Bad Birnbach. Mrs. Brandmeier was incredibly friendly, and the room was cozy and beautifully furnished. The homemade jam was delicious, a real finishing touch. Highly recommended! :)

My wife and I would gladly return to the Annenhof. It’s a small, very clean and cozy guesthouse, and our room had everything we needed. The owner takes great care to keep the rooms tidy. Breakfast was fantastic, especially the homemade jam and little surprises, and there was everything you need for a good breakfast. We felt at home and could tell the place is run with love and passion. We would have stayed longer if we could, and look forward to coming back as soon as possible. The thermal baths are well taken care of too. The owner gives you a bathrobe and a wristband with an extra bonus, so you can get entry on site without queuing at the thermal baths’ cash desk. At the end of your stay, the bill goes directly through the hotel owner. Thank you for a wonderful week and all the kindness and thoughtful touches. If there were more stars, we’d give them.

For the reasonable price, I was pleasantly surprised by how good the service was. The rooms are clean and well cared for, the house has a welcoming family feel, and Mrs. Brandmeier pays close attention to her guests. The only small drawback is that payment is cash only, with no Visa or debit card, but it’s easy to overlook.

Ms. Brandmeier was quick to reply to emails and easy to reach. She also gives thorough, helpful advice if you have questions about the area. Her care in everything she does gives Annenhof a warm, family feel, and we had a wonderful time there. Because of COVID-19, breakfast was served at the table and lovingly prepared. We highly recommend Annenhof.
