Ferienhaus Kiesel

I slept really well in the very comfortable bed, and the shower and toilet seemed like new. The room was spotless, with a fridge and everything needed for cooking in the kitchenette. There was a parking spot right outside the house, too. The owner was lovely and easy to reach by phone. He was flexible about check-in and even offered to leave me the key. I'd happily stay here again.

There was even Wi-Fi and a fridge, though neither was mentioned. The room had everything I needed, and it was neat and clean. I was greeted warmly when I arrived 😃.

Mr. Kiesel said the loud hallway conversations were happening because he had been speaking loudly himself. Meanwhile, the heating doesn't work, the bathroom radiator stays cold, and the shower gives only lukewarm water, with very little of it. It feels like guests are expected to pay a lot without getting any service in return. The shower water is cold.

When I got back from a building site in winter, I wanted hot water, but the supply at -10°C was far too small, in my opinion. I'm an installer, and we run underfloor heating at 40 degrees. Kiesel has it at only 2 degrees at -10°C, which might be fine in summer. You can't even use the kettle to wash dishes. Then they accuse you of taking towels, and the dish soap is watered down.
