Hotel Obere Mühle was a real find for motorcyclists. When we called about parking our car, trailer, and two mopeds, it was practically the only place that agreed right away. The room was perfectly fine, and the staff were very friendly.

We were welcomed so warmly by the host and landlady during our stay from August 2nd to 4th, 2024. The place is beautifully situated and very peaceful. Our room was clean, and breakfast was excellent. A good choice for hikers and bikers, too.

We laughed a lot because none of the staff seemed to know what they were doing. We were there for the opening New Year's Eve party, and the value for money just wasn't right. The food was cold, there wasn't enough of anything, and one menu had to be passed around among everyone. Even the samba show didn't make up for it. It gave the impression the operator was running a hotel for the first time.

The room and breakfast were both great. We'd gladly stay again.

The homemade cakes and, of course, the tortes were a real temptation. We felt at ease at Hotel Obere Mühle from the moment we arrived, thanks to the warm welcome and easy check-in. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful rooms, furnished with such care, made the stay special. It was our first visit, but definitely not our last; we've already booked another date. We can wholeheartedly recommend this small, family-run hotel. Thanks for the lovely days.
