The food is really good, and the people are friendly. Service and prices were good too. It could use a bit of renovation 🙂👍

The staff were super friendly, and we had no complaints about the delicious breakfast and dinner or their very reasonable prices. The house is quaint, the parking is free and spacious, and the place is just right when you want peace and quiet. Internet is available only through Wi-Fi. Our bathroom was under the sloping roof, which could make it hard for anyone over 1.80 m to stand in the shower, and the toilet drain was quite loud. Even so, we were very satisfied 👍

The owner was friendly, and the Wi-Fi worked, so those are the two stars for me. I stayed one night, although I had booked three, and ended up cutting the trip short because of an emergency. The room was comfortable enough in bed, but the hotel didn't feel particularly clean or nicely furnished. The sink was in the room, with the shower and toilet separate. There was mold throughout, including black mold in the shower. The walls looked like they had been wiped with dirty cloths and had lint and hair on them. I found long dark hairs in the bed the next morning, and as I was blonde at the time, I was sure they weren't mine. The curtains didn't match and weren't hung properly. The TV worked fine, but I also found two extension cords plugged into each other, which seemed excessive and could be a fire hazard. The toilet drain was noisy, and the water kept running unless you turned it back off. Breakfast was meant to cost an extra 5 euros, but the kitchen had been shut down because I would have been the only person having it. The side door opens onto the garden, where I saw several piles of dog poop, probably from their small dog. The dog also came out of the kitchen while I was there asking a question. The owners said the lights only worked intermittently. The stairs at the side entrance were partly carpeted and dangerous. I slipped twice when they were wet, though luckily I wasn't hurt. The internet worked, but apparently a signal jammer at the clinic across the street blocks phone reception. Steve isn't responsible for that, but it's something to be aware of. This could be a really great place, but it needs more time and care than the owners seem to have.

The room was lovely, and the bed was really comfortable. We felt completely at home, and even though the hotel was closed for its holiday, we were still served a generous, delicious breakfast. I'd happily recommend it and book again anytime.
