Clean rooms, parking, and breakfast included, plus there’s a kitchen available. The host speaks English and makes you feel right at home. It’s in the Schwarzwald and worked well as a base for us to visit Zurich, Strasbourg, the Rhine falls, Rulantica Park, and Lake Constance.

Breakfast was good and the room was clean. As an American, I’m used to having a washcloth for the shower, soap and shampoo, rather than a family-size body wash container that might have been left by the previous guest. I also prefer a top sheet instead of only a duvet in summer, and a regular pillow rather than a big square oversized one.

The family suite has plenty of room, and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. Our host was very friendly.

Everything else was good, but there wasn’t a bathroom in the room.
