The little kitchen made it easy for us to cook a few meals during the week, and the apartment was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Our host also gave us helpful information about local walks and the area. We were visiting places I knew as an army child in the 1950s and 60s, so it was a special trip. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

A lovely spot to sit down for coffee and cake. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the homemade cakes were first class.

We made good use of the playground, the comfortable places to sit, and the ping-pong table. Breakfast was delicious, and so were the cakes and pastries. We stayed three days in a holiday apartment for four at Café Gaubenhaus, and the friendly hosts made us feel welcome. The place was very clean and worked perfectly for a family break. We're delighted with our stay, happy to give it five out of five, and would highly recommend it. Thank you!

Our quick coffee stop on the drive home from vacation ended up including three slices of cake. It was so tasty and clearly homemade that we bought a slice to take home as well 😊 Cake fans will love it here. The staff were really friendly, and we'll stop again next time.
