The room smelled musty and wasn’t clean, and the whole place felt unwelcoming. Asking politely for another towel turned unpleasant when one staff member responded rudely and confrontationally. Even check-in was uncomfortable: the man at reception seemed overly familiar and unhelpful, as if helping me was a nuisance. I was disappointed throughout my stay and wouldn’t recommend coming here or return. Customer service needs serious improvement.

For a one-night stop it was quite fine. The rooms are spacious and have a fridge, there’s an elevator for the upper floors, and parking is free with plenty of space. A large shopping centre is nearby, and the ferry is about a 15-minute drive away. The reception stays open around the clock and they reply to messages. I’m not sure this really counts as a three-star hotel, though. The receptionist didn’t speak English, and I couldn’t get online because the Wi-Fi was locked and I couldn’t find the password.

The staff were helpful, and both the rooms and meals were fine. Prices are reasonable too. I’d recommend this hotel.

A good-value place for a stopover, with friendly staff and a good breakfast.
