Appartementhaus Meier

The location is good, but the Wi-Fi isn’t, and communication with customers isn’t clear.

We were very comfortable here, and it’s great that dogs are welcome. The owner was helpful, and is renovating the apartments bit by bit. We stayed for a long time and would have liked to have been overweight for a while. The apartments are roomy and well heated, which matters a lot in winter. The furniture is rustic rather than modern, so it may not suit everyone, but we liked it with our dog. The beds were comfortable and I slept well. Each apartment has a balcony with a table and chairs. The building is next to a small spa park, near the town center and Europa-Therme, with good shopping nearby. Check-in and check-out are well organized and possible at any time, even if the owner isn’t there. There’s a ramp for people with walkers, so you can enter without going through the underground garage. From the garage, a very small but useful elevator serves the floors. In winter, the owner isn’t often at the building, so snow clearing was unfortunately inconsistent. A box of grit for guests to spread when needed would help, as would a cupboard with cleaning supplies, including a mop and bucket.

We stayed in Bad Füssing for 3.5 weeks and had a great time. Our ground-floor apartment had a terrace, and there was underground parking for the car and bikes. Dogs are allowed, the landlord was very nice, and the price was good. We’ll come again.

If I return to Bad Füssing, I’ll stay at Appartementhaus Maier again. The apartment was fantastic, very clean, and had everything we could need. There’s an elevator in the building, which was handy for those of us who don’t like walking, and the underground garage is also accessible by elevator. Parking was easy, and communication with the staff was excellent. Thanks again!
