Kurhotel Schatzberger

Great.

The pools, both indoors and outdoors, were excellent, and bathrobes and towels were provided. Breakfast had plenty of choice, and the service was outstanding. The connecting door to the next room kept hallway noise barely noticeable. For a three-star hotel, it's good value and easy to recommend. There are drawbacks: the hotel feels dated, especially the hallway carpet, and the elevator is much too small when two people have several bags. The TV could be bigger too. There are no half-board or full-board options, and smoking isn't allowed on the balconies or in the garden.

The indoor and outdoor thermal pools were a highlight, with a big lawn and shaded loungers under the trees. Villa Sala was very clean and tidy, and a covered walkway linked it directly to the spa and main building, each just a minute away. We stayed two weeks in a lovely apartment, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. We also booked a wonderful breakfast. We enjoyed it so much that we booked two weeks for next year right away.

The mattresses weren't quite right for us, so that's why we took off a point. Still, we'd gladly stay again. We were very satisfied overall, and when a small issue came up, it was sorted out immediately. The staff were all friendly and attentive to guests' comfort.
