Hotel Garni Christl

Breakfast was the letdown. We were there first thing on Saturday at 8 and the selection was already limited. By 8:30 on Sunday, almost everything was gone, and several small plates stayed empty without being topped up. Someone kindly got us a bread roll from the neighboring hotel because only whole-wheat rolls were left here. The scrambled eggs we'd ordered on Saturday, despite what we'd read in other reviews, turned out to be powdered eggs, which was disappointing. We do expect a proper breakfast when it's included. The goodbye was friendly, and we wish you all the best. We'd booked two nights and arrived late in the afternoon, so our key had been left for us. That worked fine. The room was clean and tidy, and we were satisfied with it.

Being able to go straight to the thermal baths in a bathrobe is such a lovely touch. This charming little family-run hotel sits within the larger spa complex, and the owners look after guests themselves with a pleasant, personal manner. Our room was clean and tidy. We had a wonderful stay.

We had a great stay with our dog :) The owners and staff were so friendly and accommodating. Our room was spacious and really clean. And they make the best scrambled eggs in all of Bad Giesbach!

We come all the way from Upper Franconia and are happy to drive 350 km because the place is so peaceful and relaxing. The couple running Haus Christel are warm-hearted and incredibly kind, and all the staff deserve a big thank you too. We've stayed here several times now. The rooms are clean, the staff are always very friendly, and breakfast is consistently excellent, with fresh eggs and scrambled eggs. There's also a corridor where you can walk directly to the thermal baths in your bathrobe.
