The spa is the main attraction and makes the place worth visiting. The food was surprisingly good, though relatively expensive.

Hotel Tannenhof has lovely, cozy rooms and staff who pay close attention and really try to meet your requests. Breakfast was generous, with lots of choices, and everything we wanted was there. Dinner was absolutely delicious, and the service staff were kind, friendly, and always ready to listen. Highly recommended for a few days off with plenty of time at the thermal spa.

The thermal baths were lovely and included in the price. They’re a bit labyrinthine, but the signs are good. We stayed for two days and were warmly welcomed, with prompt help whenever we needed anything. The rustic yet modern rooms feel just right for the Harz region. Breakfast from the buffet was delicious, and they quickly brought a high chair when we asked. All in all, a wonderful experience.

The rooms are a little dated, but spotlessly clean. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming, and we felt completely at ease. Breakfast was delicious and had everything we wanted. We’d love to come back. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!
