After a long motorbike ride, I slept well in this comfortable hotel, which was good value. The gentleman at the door was super friendly and gave me useful tips for the next day’s ride. Cold beers in the fridge came in handy, and breakfast was good. I was happy with my stay!

We had a pleasant view from our really spacious room, and the center was an easy walk away. The staff had left for the evening when we arrived, but booking through the lobby phone was simple. The room’s internet wouldn’t connect, though the lounge had a good connection and a mini fridge where you could buy drinks. They had a parking space for us, though I’m not sure what the alternative is in busier months. The elevator was a nice extra, since that isn’t always a given. Overall, a good experience.

The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was pretty good. For the price and the excellent location opposite the Kurhaus, I thought this was a very nice hotel. The room was minimalist but had what you need. I had to ask for shower gel and shampoo, which should have been checked when the room was prepared, but they brought them when I asked. I also requested a hair dryer. I’m not sure whether one was supposed to be in the room and had been missed. Those were the only reasons for four stars; otherwise, this deserves five.

In a nice landscape, but this was a bad hotel. My third-floor room was clean yet very small, with worn furniture and paint, and a misshapen mattress. The bathroom was a joke, and a bad one: about 2 sqm, with no soap, hair dryer, or even the little mat towel to step onto after a shower. I guess some things depend on the price, though.

The rooms are spacious and warm, with what you need if you’re not after luxury. It’s an older place, but still has plenty of charm. The hosts were kind and helpful, and breakfast was generous and tasty. Five stars for the coffee! A very welcoming budget hotel.
