After a hike in the Alps, this Biergarten was a great place to unwind. The food was really good and the atmosphere was nice too. There are Ferienwohnung available for overnight stays, and parking costs 5€ per day. I'd highly recommend it.

We sat outside with the Hinterstein mountains all around us, and even the threatening rain couldn't spoil it. The Kaiserschmarren was fluffy and had those lovely roasted flavors, just as it should, though it was missing raisins, which is a matter of taste. We also had plum and apricot dumplings. Highly recommended for afternoon dessert, at least.

The Käsesuppe is a must try. We also had the Bergkäsesalat and Käsespätzle, and everything tasted freshly made. The portions were generous and the prices felt completely fair. After hiking in beautiful Hinterstein, we chose to stop here for a meal after a quick search, and we weren't disappointed. A big thanks to the waiter, who stayed quick, friendly, and attentive despite how busy it was. Definitely recommend.

We forgot to bring cash, but they still served us and let us return to pay later without any fuss. You don't always find that kind of understanding. The food was delicious and the service excellent. We'll definitely come back!
