We slept really well here. It’s clean, quiet, comfortable and very good value, with friendly staff and a buffet breakfast that was worth the €6. It made a convenient base for sightseeing. Parking is free, but take care going through the narrow archway. I turned in too sharply and scraped my car. Still, it was a good stay.

I came to Bad Homburg for a long business stay. After the first week, I booked the rest of my time here all at once. The place is super clean, the rooms are nice, the beds comfortable and the bathrooms new. Parking is free, and I always got a space. The people are super friendly and happy to help with whatever you need. Breakfast is ordered and served from a buffet, all you can eat, and it’s healthy and good. You should have dinner there too. The breakfast had juices, eggs and jam, and the food was quickly replenished when it ran low. There were several things to choose from, but only a little variety within each type, for example, one cereal and two cheeses. I didn’t see gluten-free bread or lactose-free milk. We only stayed one night, but it was a nice experience. The two staff members we met were very friendly and helpful. Our double room was quite large for the price. The bathroom was especially impressive, with a bathtub, a shower and a double washbasin. Everything looked clean and nicely done. Outside, the hotel looks quite old, while inside there’s old furniture and paintings that give it a pleasant, old-fashioned look. The free WLAN was fast enough for browsing and streaming movies, though I didn’t measure the speed. The main downside is the noise: the rooms aren’t soundproof, and running water from toilets and showers sounded really loud in the evening. If your room has a balcony, you can hear outside sounds clearly even with the doors shut. Some fire extinguishers were about four months past their inspection due date. I still expected them to work, so didn’t pay much attention to that. The building itself is the biggest drawback, and that’s not easy to change. Thanks to the staff for a nice stay!

The owner spent nearly half an hour helping me register my prepaid phone card because the instructions were in German. I stayed two nights while visiting the Frankfurt area. It’s a very quiet neighborhood, parking was free, and breakfast tasted good. I had everything I needed.
