The restaurant was the one bright spot, with tasty food and fine meals. Everything else was a letdown. We hadn't been told before check-in that the pool heating pump was defective, and the hotel left the pool open in winter for guests to discover the problem themselves. The water was cold, the empty pool area was useless, and our room was dated, drafty, and had a filthy carpet with stains. It wasn't comfortable or hygienic at all. This wasn't what we'd booked or expected. Look elsewhere for a comfortable stay!

The manager was the only one who acknowledged that the hotel had a real problem. Reception offered plenty of excuses but never the real reason there was no hot water, heating, or Wi-Fi. I booked directly by email, and nothing in the correspondence mentioned any of these issues. My week there was the worst hotel stay I've had in Bad Kissingen in the past 10 years.
8/10
We found Wyndham Garden in Bad Kissingen a great place to relax with the whole family. The hotel is near the rose garden, so our room had a beautiful view. The rooms are quite large, with a double bed and a separate toilet.
8/10
The view was nice, and the location and food were good. Service wasn't the best, and parking was limited.
6/10
The restaurant and breakfast were good and there was enough to eat. The place could use a little renovation.
