Ferienhaus 'Am Walde'

The setting is a dream, and the apartment has wonderful space. Such a shame the house itself doesn't make a good impression. Cleanliness is poor, and the furniture feels mismatched, with no real style or plan. It could be so much better. The place felt absolutely germy and disgusting, with entry by code and no keys. Kitchen things were either grimy or broken, the tablecloth was stained, and the couch blanket was dirty. One roller shutter, perhaps at the patio door, was broken, as was a dresser handle. The towels were very basic. Only the waterbed had been made up, so I slept on one of the other unmade beds because the waterbed was very, very uncomfortable. There were no bedside tables. The bedside lamps were floor lamps, not nightlights, and turning one on at night lit up the whole room. There was no wardrobe, only an old shelf behind a curtain. I wouldn't recommend this for dog owners who care about cleanliness, or for people without a dog either. The resident dog kept coming into the garden and urinating there. I saw it every morning. The landlords should mention on their website that there's a dog on site and it roams freely.
