The staff were really friendly, and breakfast was good. We had clean, cozy rooms in a perfect location surrounded by nature. If we travel to Viechtach again, we'll definitely stay here. 😌👌

There wasn't much English spoken, but the service was okay.

The breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of choice: fruit, different rolls, juices, scrambled eggs, yogurt, and more. They were also very pet-friendly, thanks in part to their family dog, Moritz. The Hartmannsgruber family has made this B&B a real gem, and we'd happily return. It's on the outskirts of Bad Kötzting, with hiking trails starting right outside. Shops including Edeka, Aldi, and dm are about a 10-minute walk away, and the spa park is around 15 minutes on foot. Our room was modern, quiet, and very spacious, with a small refrigerator, two TVs, and separate toilet and shower. There's a sauna in the house, and they'll pre-heat it in the evening if you let them know. Check-in was quick and easy: we got the key safe code by text on the morning we arrived.

The double room was spacious and well-equipped, and breakfast had a huge selection with something for everyone. We were warmly welcomed by the very polite staff. Check-in and arrival were simple and smooth, and whenever anything came up with the room, someone was there right away to sort it out. I'd gladly stay again.
