The housekeeper was friendly, and the rooms were clean, but the building had a musty smell in the entrance and hallways. The rooms felt old, with squeaky beds, short duvets and lumpy pillows that seemed straight out of the 1970s. This place has fallen into disuse and hardly deserves to be called a hotel anymore. The price is completely unreasonable for what you get.

I've stayed here for years whenever I travel to southern Hesse. The owner is very friendly, and breakfast is excellent. The rooms are spacious and clean, with very comfortable beds. If you want somewhere good to stay without paying for a top-end place, this works well.

Right in the center of Bad König and close to the thermal baths, this hotel is a bit dated. The rooms are clean and practical, though they could use updating. There's elevator access, and breakfast is good.

Breakfast and the restaurant food were both good, and for a single night it was perfectly fine. The house and furnishings are old, though, and the mattress was worn enough to need replacing. I'd stay again next time I'm in Bad König.

I really enjoyed my 8-day stay at this family-run hotel. The service was excellent, and I especially appreciated how they adjusted breakfast for my dietary needs. That was very thoughtful, thank you again.
