The rooms are okay for the price. Sure, it's not the Ritz Carlton, and I paid more there too. The owner may be eccentric because of his age, but I can live with that. We improved the breakfast, and the coffee is good. I don't like the usual negative complaints. If you don't like the place, just don't go back. Nobody writes about the nice guests either.

We liked our stay, though the bathroom could use a renovation. The room itself was very clean and the towels were changed often. The decor feels like the 1960s or 1970s, so it won't suit anyone with high standards. The older staff were friendly and fit the hotel's charm.

We’re planning to come back soon for another restful stay. The hotel is near the spa park, on a quiet street, and I love its vintage feel, as if time had stood still. The furnishings have been kept in very good condition. There have been updates, including an elevator added later and some newer furniture, and I like how those modern touches mix with the old style.

The Wi-Fi only worked right by the room door, not at the desk, which made using a laptop for work awkward. Apart from that, everything was fine and the stay was pleasant. The staff were lovely, especially the friendly woman at the breakfast buffet and the housekeeping team. It's well placed for trips to the thermal baths, Freiburg, and other excursions.
