Landgasthaus Hubertusklause

A quaint little hotel with a comfortable bed and a fast charger just two minutes away. It's cheap, but there's no air conditioning, they don't take American Express, and there's no electric car charger.

The room was clean and cozy, and there were enough breakfast options to choose from. A nice place to stay.

The fried potatoes were decent, but the rest of the meal was disappointing. The salad was mostly pickled cucumbers, white cabbage, corn, bell peppers, and mixed beans, with just one leaf of green lettuce. The schnitzel wasn't pounded, seasoned well, or properly breaded, and had a strong pork taste. Such a shame when the prices are quite high. We'll go once, but never again. Even the withered plants they use as decorations don't help.

The €4-a-day breakfast buffet was good value and sufficient, but eating it meant sitting surrounded by stale cigarette smoke. That smell was obvious across the dining room, breakfast room, and hallway as soon as I entered the building. At least my room didn't smell of it. The room was clean but very bare and not especially cozy, and the bathroom was dated though clean. There was no soap, so I had to use shower gel to wash my hands. I stayed at the Hubertusklause for two business nights. I tried to reserve by phone ahead of time but couldn't reach anyone, so I booked online through a third-party provider. Because of these issues, I won't return to the Hubertusklause or recommend it.
