The breakfast really stood out, with a great choice of food made with care. We especially liked the fresh fruit, eggs cooked to order, cheeses, and excellent espresso. The welcome was warm when we arrived, and that friendly hospitality continued throughout our stay, making us feel at home. The hotel is right in the center of charming Arhweiler, and we'd happily recommend it for a comfortable stay and a lovely breakfast.

Hotel Ännchen made a great base for a visit to the Ahr valley. It's nicely renovated and sits in the charming old town, close to restaurants and wineries. It was fascinating to see how the area is recovering from the terrible 2021 floods and how much has been restored.

The owners and staff were so kind, friendly, and helpful. Our room was really nice, with a small but lovely terrace, and the breakfast had far more choices than we could get through. It's a good hotel, and I’ll probably come back.

We had everything we needed after a long day on the Rotweinwanderweg: comfortable beds, a good shower, and spacious, clean rooms. There was even a fridge, kettle, and boot tray for our hiking boots. Breakfast had a nice range of bread, cereal, yogurt, fruit salad, and boiled eggs, and we could order scrambled eggs too. The hotel is inside the city wall, so our hiking group could easily walk to a nearby restaurant for dinner. Check-in was quick and the welcome was friendly. We’d definitely stay again, thank you!

I was in Ahrweiler for work and was very happy with both the service and my room, which looked out over the old town. Breakfast is well worth having, and it was handy to have a refreshment room where you can help yourself to drinks.
