The hotel was clean and pleasant, and it only took a few minutes to walk into the city centre. The beds were really comfortable. But we had a rough night: people on our floor, adults and kids, were screaming and running around the hallway near midnight. Someone even banged on my door while my daughter was asleep in the room. I asked reception twice to quiet things down, but nobody was there, and the noise carried on for more than an hour.

I’ve stayed here more than once, always for personal reasons, including when a family member was dying. The way management treated me showed such a lack of respect that it’s hard to put into words, so I’ll keep this short. I can’t recommend staying here. The standard-room showers are tiny, and the pillows are so flat they sink right away. Breakfast was far from fresh, with just one small coffee included. In the evening, the restaurant had no trained staff, and the food was heated in a microwave.

As an English person touring Germany, I appreciated how welcoming everyone was and how well they spoke English. They were always happy to help and make things work for me. The hotel and rooms were very clean, the bed was really comfortable, and there was plenty to choose from at breakfast.
