White Pearl Hostel 1

The online details caused some confusion because they didn’t match what I found. Towels and bed linen were included, but there was no microwave or toaster in my room, despite the website saying otherwise. Still, it was a great stay. The room and facilities were clean, and the bed was really comfortable. Self check-in was straightforward, and questions got quick, dependable replies. I’d happily recommend it.

The location was great, it was cheap, and check-in was easy. I stayed twice in one week, and it was quiet at night. Finding the entrance takes a little direction: go through the archway (see picture), then look for the keypad door in the far left corner. The toilets and showers could use a proper clean, and some things were broken.

I booked a room with its own bathroom, but the shower had a drainage problem. When I contacted the hotel to ask for a room with a properly working shower, they suggested I use the shared shower in the basement. Seriously? I paid for a room with a bathroom, and they expected me to shower downstairs. The room also needs a proper clean. Thanks, White pearl hostel, for a terrible stay.

There’s no staff around to answer questions, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you really have to. It’s very cheap, but the rooms are dusty and dirty, and the bedding didn’t look clean. The bathrooms need attention too, especially the showers. They should be keeping the place cleaner.
