Ferienwohnung am Döttelbach

This was our third visit, and we're already planning to return. Mr. and Mrs. Kimmig's apartment is comfortably furnished, with three bedrooms and comfortable beds where we slept very well. The living and dining room also has a sofa that turns into a bed. The location makes it easy to get around: hiking starts right outside, and the train and bus are practically at the doorstep. With the windows shut, you can't hear the B28 highway at all. We come as a group of three or four friends.

The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, and we felt well looked after. The large apartment was quiet, with stunning views of mountains and horse pastures in every direction. You couldn't hear the nearby train station or road. It had three spacious bedrooms, a cozy living room, a well-equipped kitchen, a very large bathroom, and a separate guest toilet. Many hiking trails start right there, and the flyers and brochures in the living room give you ideas for things to do in the area.

Ms. Kimmig welcomed us so warmly that we felt at home right away. The apartment was cozy and tastefully furnished, spacious, spotlessly clean, and very well equipped. There's a dishwasher, and a washing machine is available on request. They'd thought of the little practical things too, from dishwasher tablets and coffee filters to trash bags and paper towels. We had a really pleasant, relaxing few days there last week. We'd happily return and recommend it.

The Kimmig family gave us a wonderful vacation, thank you again. The apartment was clean and spacious, with a great kitchen that had everything we needed. It was just as described and lacked nothing. The landlords were super friendly and accommodating, and happy to share information. We'll definitely come back. Best wishes from the flat north.
