Löcherhansenhof

The rooms were immaculate, the atmosphere was warm, and the decor had lots of thoughtful details. The view over Bad Peterstal and the hiking trails made our stay at the idyllic Löcherhansenhof family farm feel perfect. We stayed in Bad Peterstal from May 21st to May 24th, 2026. We’ll definitely return and highly recommend this family farm. Best regards, Tanju and Britta

The children could watch and lend a hand when it was barn time, and on rainy days there’s a play barn to head to. There’s also a barbecue area for grilling and spending time together. We enjoyed the farm’s own liqueur tasting, and the liqueurs were delicious. Fresh milk is available to pick up in the evening, and there are fresh eggs too. The farm’s adventure trail is varied and interesting, and fun for adults as well as kids. The holiday apartment, Pear, was well-equipped with dishes and furniture and was clean. There’s lots to do nearby too, including a swimming pool, mini-golf, a nature trail, a fairytale treasure hunt, and the treetop walk in Waldkirch. We had a wonderful week at Löcherhansenhof. A paradise for grown-ups and children alike.

There’s a lovely playground for children and an adventure trail for little explorers. The forest hiking paths are beautiful, though some have inclines.

The holiday apartment had everything we could need and was very well-equipped. We’d love to come back. Thanks so much! :) This was our second visit, and we had another lovely time. The farm is a dream for families, with a fantastic playground that has everything a child could want, including a paddling pool. The farm animals are varied and exceptionally well cared for, with lots of freedom to choose where and when they want to be. We found it fascinating that the cows go to the milking machine by themselves whenever they want. There’s also a great children’s hiking trail with different stations, and the pine cone throwing one was the clear favorite. The surrounding nature is incredibly varied. Each evening, we adults enjoyed sitting on the balcony and looking out over the wide Black Forest. Wine or beer is available to buy in the cellar at reasonable prices.
