Villa Mondry

Really excellent!

My wife, daughter, and I all felt at home here, and we loved the little shady terrace. The apartment has everything you need, including a great collection of plastic-free games. Everything is easy to reach on foot, and parking is available too. Electric cars may not be very common yet, but the staff were willing to help. I did have trouble with my charging cable, though that was my own fault. The hot water only came through on the third day. My daughter said cold water is much better for your hair. Sure, that advice was only about 20 years too late, haha. The beds are very soft and squeak a little. One thing to keep in mind is the foundation waterproofing issue. Ventilation can make it bearable in summer, but I wonder how it is in winter. I can’t speak to the larger second apartment, or comment on the beauty salon itself. The salon staff were helpful and friendly, and they’re the ones who hand over the apartment key. We’d rate this holiday apartment as good.

The bedrooms could use curtains or blinds to block out more light, though it didn’t bother us much. Otherwise, this is a lovely, spacious apartment with a big balcony and everything we needed. The furnishings and decor are distinctive and tasteful.

A very roomy, clean apartment. I’d recommend it.
