The meat was well cooked and tasted good. It's classic German food, as the restaurant name suggests, with several venison dishes to choose from. The service was friendly, though a little frowzy.

We had a party of four at Wirtshaus zum Wilddieb and everything was excellent, no complaints. I'd recommend calling ahead to reserve.
