The garden around the villa was lovely, and breakfast had a good range: scrambled eggs, fruit, cold cuts, bread, and cakes. The building dates from the late 19th century and still feels almost like a museum, with its original character carefully preserved. It’s in good condition, and the new bathrooms mean it doesn’t feel run down. We enjoyed our stay, especially with the center so close by.

Villa Erica had a lovely garden, and our room was clean and spacious. It felt like staying in a museum. Breakfast was good too. The königlicher Kurgarten is only about five minutes away, making this a perfect spot for a relaxing holiday.

Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of bread, oats, fruit, and a proper coffee machine. I didn’t use the wellness facilities, though they’re free. You just have to let them know 40 minutes ahead so the sauna can heat up. I stayed at Villa Rosa, a splendid building that has been a hotel since it was built in 1898. The laminate flooring in the room was clean, with no dusty carpet, and the style suited the place. The bathroom renovation was a bit clumsy, though. Water escapes from the shower and leaves the bathroom floor quite wet.

The rooms are really spacious, and breakfast felt like pure luxury. It’s a wonderful hotel. If you have time, make use of the spa downstairs.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was very nice, with a different cake each day. Our room felt a little dated, and the couch had a few stains. Still, it’s a nice hotel in a good location, and we had a pleasant stay.
