The place was okay, and the staff were very friendly at first. We were shocked by the end, though. When we arrived, they offered us public transport tickets for free travel during our stay, despite knowing we had come by car. Later, at checkout, they charged us for them separately, €17.50 each, or €35 for the two. We had booked through Booking.com at a fixed price of €480, but were told the total was €515. Our one-year-old had been sick the day before and vomited, so we decided to leave a day early. They knew our child was ill and that we were cutting the stay short, but showed no understanding about the price. The website also said breakfast was included, which was misleading. We were standing in an empty dining room when they told us breakfast cost extra. Never again. And before anyone deletes this comment, screenshots say hello. I'll keep posting it so it sticks, so deleting it is pointless.

It's a central, quiet hotel with older furnishings and staff who were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was simple but filling, just right if you're out exploring the beautiful countryside all day. Recommended.

The room was great, and the location is top-notch. The service was friendly, and the staff are always ready with tips if you aren't sure what to do. I'd come back.

The service was the highlight for us, friendly from the welcome onward, with useful tips about outings and the area. We could walk into town in no time, yet the setting stayed peaceful. The rooms were nice and had a great view, though Bad Reichenhall offers more than just a room. Thanks for such a lovely stay, we'd happily come back.

The location worked perfectly for our tours, and the rooms were clean. They were also very kind about special requests: I was even given spelt rolls and lactose-free cheese.
