Le Méridien München

The staff were kind and the rooms comfortable, but I can’t get past the mice in the courtyard and at least half a dozen running around the restaurant. That’s a real health risk, and I’d absolutely avoid eating there. Older reviews suggest this pest problem has been going on for at least a year. I’m shocked it hasn’t been dealt with at a Marriott property. They need to spend money on pest control.

The front desk team made me feel welcome throughout my stay. Dewi Mayasari,Pooja Lama, and Alex Miller were warm, friendly, and quick to help, with a professional approach that made me feel well looked after. Le Méridien Munich also has impressive facilities and a great location, so the stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I’d gladly return and am already looking forward to another visit.

The rooms are large, clean, and quiet, and breakfast is always really good with excellent service. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and helpful staff, especially the Georgian girl at reception, who I think is a supervisor there. It’s right by the main station, easy to get to from the airport or by train, and you can walk to Marienplatz in central Munich. If you’re going this year, ask for a room that doesn’t face the street. There’s major renovation work around the station and it starts early, so it can be noisy as usual. I didn’t try the spa, but they have one. I can highly recommend the hotel.

Seeing it still looking so beautiful brought back memories from my stay during Euro 2008. The station is right nearby, and Munich’s summer energy and the hotel’s atmosphere made it unforgettable. Some hotels become part of a chapter of your life, not just a memory. 🤍
