Hotel Cocoon

The one small drawback in my standard room was the sink, which made washing my face a little awkward. Otherwise, the room was excellent and easy to use. I travel often and stay in hotels regularly, and this was one of my best experiences so far. Everything from check-in to check-out was smooth and well organized. The hotel feels modern and chic without trying too hard, and the reception team were warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout. I also liked the reusable water bottle idea, since you can refill it anytime. Having two restaurants, one upstairs and one on the ground floor, was a great bonus for variety and convenience. I'd definitely stay here again.

The restaurant was so good we ate there twice, especially loved the pizza, and breakfast had everything and more. I also loved hearing the subtle bird sounds in the hallways, a cute little touch. The hotel's design is fun and memorable, and while the rooms are small, they're laid out cleverly. Our balcony room was a huge bonus, with extra outdoor space we really enjoyed. My husband and I spent five nights here in May 2025 for his 40th birthday, our first time in Munich. After what felt like researching every hotel in the city, Cocoon Sendlinger Tor kept standing out. The location worked really well: it's safe, cozy, and comfortable, and everything is close enough to walk to. We did have to walk, but it was easy. There's no laundry on site, but a very clean laundromat was just two blocks away. If you want a trendy, design-forward hotel with lovely people working there, this is a great pick. We hope to return!

The staff at both the rooftop and ground floor bars were genuinely lovely, helpful, and amazing. Breakfast was great, with reasonably priced options. Fantastic staff and a great location make this Hôtel unique. Thanks to the team and management. I'll definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Munich city Center.

The shower kept dripping through the night, and since it was integrated into the room, the noise woke us in the early hours. We didn't notice when we went to bed because we were exhausted. Aside from that, it was a cool hotel with a very interesting concept, clean rooms, friendly staff, and a great breakfast.
