Ferienhaus Drewitz (EOC-FUP 07/2017)

We spent evenings relaxing in the courtyard by the pond, and the covered terrace was great shelter when the weather turned bad. The house is beautifully furnished. If you’re in a larger group, you can rent a small annex with its own kitchen, bathroom, and separate living and sleeping space. One of the best moments was seeing animals come to the feeding station right at the edge of the property in the evening. The area has lovely nearby towns and something for every age, from a bear sanctuary, monkey park, monastery, and GDR museum to water sports, fishing, a national park, and a bison enclosure. There’s plenty more, too. The nature here feels unspoiled, with lots of lakes and wildlife, and it’s great for hiking, biking, and fishing. The motorway is conveniently close, and Rostock is only 30 minutes away. In winter, visitors can register with the forestry service for driven hunts, and hunting areas are allocated to visitors during the season. It has everything you need to unwind. Highly recommended.
