We felt relaxed and renewed after our stay, and I can’t wait to return. The food was wonderful, with a great breakfast, soup at lunchtime, several dinner choices each evening, fresh salads and delicious desserts. I’m sad I missed the cakes, they looked amazing. The staff were warm and friendly, nothing felt like too much trouble, and they had ideas for every day and all kinds of weather. There’s plenty to do, from a short walk to Thumsee for a swim to hikes suited to different ages and abilities. We also enjoyed the massage, saunas, indoor pool, Kegelbahn and indoor and outdoor playgrounds. The setting is beautiful, nestled among mountains and green meadows, with fresh air, flowers, trees and stunning views of Thumsee. From the moment you arrive, it feels like a picture-book place. I can barely find the words for our perfect holiday at Seeblick. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.

Two nights here gave us so much relaxation and fun that it felt like a week elsewhere. The food was excellent, and the rooms were spacious and cozy. The spa is comfortable and relaxing, and the gym is well equipped. There’s loads for children, including a toy-filled game room and the mouse cinema, a cave-like little space reached through a small entrance, with cartoons on a big TV. The outdoor playground has swings, a trampoline and little wooden playhouses. In winter, the hotel’s own small hill and cable lift make it possible to have some miniature skiing and sledding fun. I also enjoyed walking through the underground tunnel between the hotel buildings. It has display cases with awards, bikes and newspaper articles about winning the Iron man championship, which was really interesting to see. We definitely want to come back for longer.

A quiet, friendly place for a relaxing weekend, with a perfect scenic view. It’s great for kids, with a small ski slope and lift, and there’s an indoor pool, free WiFi and parking right at the hotel. Breakfast was great and dinner was nice. The lake is very close, and it’s a good base for hiking and biking. Bad Reichenhall is 10 minutes away by car, and Salzbourg is a 20-minute drive.
