The price is hard to beat for what's offered, and I wouldn't let the small but adequate single room put me off returning. A little fridge in the room would be nice. The location is ideal, just a few meters from the Kurgarten and a short walk to the pedestrian shopping area and city center. The staff couldn't have been friendlier, breakfast was amazing, and the atmosphere was delightful. The sauna and fitness area were excellent, and everything was clean and well looked after.

The first night's mattresses were a problem, but they replaced them the next morning when we asked. That was very helpful service. The staff are friendly, though quite businesslike, correct and to the point.

The bed was amazingly comfortable, and the room was clean and cleaned each day. I liked this old place, a bit like a grand old lady with attitude. Work was going on, so breakfast and reception were across the road, but it wasn't a big deal. Great value, easy parking and a great location.

6/10
The room was roomy, clean and had a balcony and good facilities, and the service and general attitude at check-in and check-out were good. I also liked the cozy exterior, location and parking. But the room decor feels like it belongs to another era, and breakfast and Wi-Fi were poor. Internet was only available through a cable modem for $2 per hour.

The hotel has a retro look, and breakfast was great, with quality products. The internet was a bit slow, but manageable.
