Appartements im Schlosspark Bad Saarow

The houses and apartments are very nice, the kitchen was well equipped, and the lake area is beautifully landscaped. There should be more, and better, ways to get down to the lake. It was noisy around the lake throughout the day. Dogs were often off leash despite the rule, which can be frightening for some people. Smoke from people on other terraces was awful and drifted into the other homes; the owners should consider banning smoking on terraces to protect nonsmokers. Our SUP was stolen from the terrace, and we weren’t the only ones this happened to. Bring a cable lock.

The house is a little dated, but it’s in good condition and the furnishings were good. Our landlord’s staff were very friendly, and when we found an issue, they dealt with it as quickly as they could. Previous guests had reported a sauna problem, and it was fixed on the day we arrived. We came with three cars, though one parking space was reserved exclusively for the house. We could have been told we were allowed to use the "Z" spaces, but couldn’t find any sign for them on the property.

It looks lovely at first, but that didn’t last. Some of the things we’d booked weren’t available, and the walls and floors weren’t properly clean. The walls are so thin you can hear every word from the neighbors. For that price, no thanks.

The architecture looks appealing and sits nicely in the surrounding landscape.
