We loved staying at Fuchsbau SweetHome. Shops, restaurants, the pool and ice rink are all walkable, and a lovely forest is just a short stroll away. In autumn it looks especially beautiful, and our dog thought it was paradise. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. We only missed having a second shower room with two teenage girls along, though it didn't take away from a great holiday. It really felt like home.
For our three-week summer stay, this house worked out brilliantly. It’s on a quiet street, with a little playground at the end and more in the village. Shops and several big supermarkets are within walking distance, and it made a great base for outings. Inside, everything was clean and fully equipped, with roomy bedrooms and lots of wardrobe space. Entering with a code instead of carrying a key was handy too.
Haus Fuchs was a great base for exploring the Harz Mountains, in a peaceful spot with everything we needed nearby. We spent a week there over the winter holidays, eight of us in all, and needed plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The house fit us perfectly, with lovely furnishings and a practical kitchen that had everything. We’d be very happy to return!
Our dogs loved having the garden to run around in, and the surrounding scenery and nature are so lovely that a few days felt too short. This was our first stay at the Fuchs family's SweetHome, and we were thrilled with it. Check-in was easy, and the spacious, beautifully furnished house had everything we could want. We were all sad when the holiday passed so quickly. Next time we’ll book at least a week, and we’ll definitely be back.
We had a wonderful stay and slept really well, with the Harz Mountains and its sights to explore each day. I’d recommend this place, especially to anyone travelling with a dog. Our miniature schnauzer Max loved the big, fully fenced garden, and we enjoyed it too. The fenced property has what you need for a holiday, while the house is clean, comfortable and modern. Shopping at REWE, ALDI, EDEKA and the gas station is easy in the nearby village. The Friday check-in from 3:00 PM and checkout by 10:00 AM made for a more pleasant drive, without weekend traffic. We were even able to get in early with the code. The electronic front door lock was convenient, as were the digital radiator thermostats. There’s fast Wi-Fi and two TVs with channels including Netflix. Electricity, water and heating are included in the rent, so there’s no meter reading or separate bill later. Mr. Fuchs, the friendly landlord, stopped by a few times; we had a nice chat and could go over anything important.
