Ferienwohnung Villa Bella Vista

Bad Sachsa has restaurants offering German, Greek, Italian, and Turkish food, so there was plenty of variety. We came to Villa Bella Vista hoping for some quiet between the holidays, and the view from our apartment was lovely. The steep access roads make the location difficult for anyone with mobility problems. Our dog settled in very happily, but the living area was noisy: we could hear nearly every word from the owners’ apartment upstairs, and cooking smells also drifted down into our living room. The furnishings could use improvement too. The dishes didn’t match, and there were no breakfast boards.

The apartment is an easy walk from the Salztal Paradies, which was a big plus for us. I stayed with my two children, and we had a lovely, relaxing time. The furnishings were excellent, and the landlords were very friendly and accommodating. We’ll definitely come back.

We had to pay before we were allowed to see the house, and then it became clear why. Everything felt sticky, and the door was broken and wouldn’t open. The bed was so crooked that we nearly rolled out of it. There was noise all weekend like a construction site. Never again. It looks nice from outside, but that’s about it. The view they talk about is the same one you get at the neighbors’ place. We stayed a week and got a few towels, but when we asked to exchange them, they reacted as if we were asking for their PIN code. The people who call this place clean must be filthy jerks themselves.

Three huskies and a last-minute booking were no problem at all. The views through those huge windows are fantastic, and everything was very clean. The owners were incredibly friendly. Highly, highly, highly recommend!
