Good breakfast, cozy place, and cheap.

The rooms and house were clean, with a 70s retro, nostalgic look that felt like it had been put together with care and taste. The hosts were very friendly, and breakfast was fantastic. Great value for money, right in the center of town.

Breakfast was a real highlight: generous, tasty, fresh, varied, and adjusted to individual needs. You could tell the host cared about that. The whole stay at Haus Maria was wonderful, and I can’t think of anything that could have made it better. The owner was exceptionally kind, open, and attentive. I could share special requests before we arrived, and he made sure they were handled. Personal contact mattered here, and we felt truly welcome rather than like just another guest. If we needed anything or had a question, help came quickly and without fuss. Arrival, departure, and getting the keys all went smoothly. The entire house was spotless and lovingly looked after, including the rooms, bathrooms, and common areas. The building and furnishings are somewhat dated, but that didn’t affect comfort. The traditional decor has a pleasant charm and character, and there was still everything we needed, including a comfortable bed, clean bathroom, and working appliances. I wholeheartedly recommend Haus Maria for its warm hospitality, cleanliness, breakfast, and the owner’s genuine care, as well as its wonderful location. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We come every year over Pentecost weekend and always feel at ease. It’s a quiet, small guesthouse with very friendly hosts, and the breakfast is plentiful and good.
